Yet another legendary early 80's keyboard, the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 has been the first versatile, programmable, 5-voice polyphonic, great sounding synth. It was used for the distinctive pad sound on the Phil Collins hit "In The Air Tonight", also used by Wally Badarou, and Japan's keyboard player Richard Barbieri. Unfortunately, the first Prophet-5 lacked the famous MIDI interface at the time, to fit into an 80's synthesizer set-up.
